I Want to Go Home

9 years later and it still hurts

No, this poem isn't about me. I wasn't in the towers when it happened...But I can only imagine what it was like...

But yes, I am a New Yorker; "I want to go home" was something that I kept telling myself that day. As I get older and my memories of that day feels more and more like a scrap book; I still remember that feeling of 'wanting to go home'. And its that feeling that wont let me forget.

I couldn't forget even if I tried...
