For those who don't know; I live in New York City, where one of the worst, if not the most worst, terrorist attack occured 6 years ago.

The purpose of this slideshow is to show you, my friends, what the area around Ground Zero looks of as of this September 2007. I took these pictures over a course of 2 days, one being exactly 2 weeks ago from today and the other last Friday.

Its still hard to imagine what happened all those years ago. But the fact is that it did happen, and all we can do now is to remember...to remember those events and to remember how precious life really is.

I've never been to this site before, but I do remember being on top of the WTC. 9/11 truly was a horrible event in history

I recently been to New york and I saw the merimor site site it just a building site ow and its starnge that two buildings by lots of others buildings came down on their own its amazing that no other damage was done

There were other buildings damaged... I saw two other buildings that were still in pretty bad shape. The damage in the area was extensive, but I know it could have been worse. It would have been more terrible if the towers crashed down on their sides rather than caving in.
